Safe Helpline for Military Sexual Trauma- The Department of Defense has contracted with RAINN (Rape, Abuse & Incest National Network) to provide independent and anonymous services for this hotline for the DoD Community

The Vet Center offers combat veterans readjustment services that include individual, marital, family and group counseling. The Vet Center also specializes in military sexual trauma and bereavement counseling. Services are also available for veteran’s family members for military related issues.

The Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) has founded a National Call Center for Homeless Veterans hotline to ensure that homeless Veterans or Veterans at-risk for homelessness have free, 24/7 access to trained counselors

The New England Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America hosts social events, sporting events, and fundraisers, promoting accessibility among veterans.The organization's primary focus is veterans' issues, notably quality healthcare for veterans with spinal cord injuries and dysfunction (SCI/D) such as Multiple Sclerosis (MS). NEPVA routinely works with other community civic groups and agencies to advocate for accessibility to all aspects of life that are available to the general population.

The Real Warriors Campaign is a multimedia public awareness campaign designed to encourage help-seeking behavior among service members, veterans and military families coping with invisible wounds.

SAVE acts as a liaison between veterans and their families and the various agencies within the federal and state governments. The program's primary mission is prevention of suicide and mental health distress through the identification of issues facing veterans when they return from service and providing them with access to benefits and services that may address these issues and result in positive transitions back to civilian life.

The LEADER (Law Enforcement, Active Duty, Emergency Responder) Program at McLean Hospital provides specialized mental health and addiction services, designed specifically for men and women in uniform. Programs are available for in patient, residential, partial hospital and outpatient programs.
